About Dr Ronald Wai
Dr Ron trained in the internationally renowned University of Newcastle Medical school, Australia before completing general training in Gosford and Wyong hospitals as Resident medical officer. He pursued Specialist General Practice which he loved and completed training in the Central Coast of NSW. After achieving this, he pursued his desire to further train as a Specialist Physician and ended up training in three specialties which has provided him a unique and balanced view of medicine. Dr Ron's training has taken place in large metropolitan hospitals such as Wollongong, Gosford and Westmead hospitals. He's also trained in regional and rural hospitals such as Orange, Shoalhaven, Shellharbour. Dr Ron has spent additional time in hospitals in Port Kembla, Hornsby and Wyong.
He practices with the understanding that every patient has their own unique story and life journey, and that not everybody fits into a box. Dr Ron was taught by a distinguished mentor that life is not just about preventing and treating illness, but helping people live better.
